Do you mean the GE DECT 6.0 30524 corded/cordless phone? For this landline telephone, you can switch a call from one handset to another (or the base) by using the Intercom feature. Press del/int on the handset or Int on the base and choose a handset number (use the CID +/ phonebook -) buttons (if multiple handsets are registered) or select base from the handset. Press Menu/OK to page the other handset or base. Once that device answers the incoming Intercom call, press and hold Del/Int or Int to create a conference call (both handsets or handset and base listening). Press Del/Int or Int to switch from the Intercom call back to the call on hold. Hang up on the first handset if the person on the second handset will continue to speak to the original caller alone. See pages 24-25 of the manual to see the directions. The direct link to the manual is currently https://www.101phones.com/pdf/ge/30524-user-guide-english-f.pdf .
For any landline phone, to forward a call to another phone number, you need to subscribe to a forwarding option with your telephone company. Check their information for initiating call forwarding.
If you have a different 30524 phone, please add a comment with the manufacturer.
Hi yes you can add additional phones to it as long as their the same frequency so that they pick up the signal from the main phone that plugs into the phone line. Im sure you can have upto 4 handsets but just make sure theis same make and frequency
if you can get the exact model as the existing hand set it should not be a problem
just follow the installation process to get the base to recognize it so that it connects
In the instructions you need to find how you Sync the base and add that number phone to the base. All have different ways so try the company website on google.
There are a few reasons why a battery won't charge. Make sure that the contacts on the phone and the charging cradle are clean. (Unplug the base or charger.) A pencil eraser is good initial cleaner; electronic contact cleaner sprays are a second option. Remove the battery and check the contacts inside the handset and the battery as well. Next replace the battery pack. If you add a comment with your phone's model number, then I can try to find the correct battery. (Stores like Battery Mart may have a compatible battery.)
The final possible problem is that the charging system is bad. If your phone has multiple handsets, try a different charger. If the phone allows you to add handsets, try getting a new handset. The new handset will come with a new charger. (I've never seen the chargers sold without the handset but you could try Uniden customer service. If the base station is the only handset cradle, you'll probably need to replace the phone if a new battery and clean contacts don't work.
If your Uniden phone is under warranty, contact the company.
The VTech CS6229-2 - cordless phone has a two handset systems provide the convenience of operating two handsets using only one phone jack and one base station. The second handset simply needs an electrical outlet to plug into. These systems also allow you to transfer calls, conference an outside call or use the intercom feature between handsets.
Here's an online instruction manual for your guide: http://www.manualowl.com/m/Vtech/CS6229-2/Manual/196794
If you mean you'd like to add another handset to the base unit on this phone, I'm afraid you can't. This isn't a multi-handset phone and isn't expandable. If you want the kind of system that has the main base unit and several separate handsets, you'll have to start fresh with a new system. They aren't expensive.
You have a common "symptom", but it comes from everything from a cracks to bad components in different places on the phone, normally from very light to heavy physical damage, and/or a bad component or two. Not really a user fix, so I recommend you google "panasonic cordless repair center" and you will find a repair facility. Regards, CG
