I have a new mp3 player when i connect ipod to down load it comes up ipod so how do i connect to the computer so i can see mp3 ready .do i have to register the mp3 player in order to down load.want to get set-up to down load music to the mp3 player like i did with ipod. when i connect the mp3 player to the computer i hear a click like i hear with the ipod but i don't see mp3 so that i can drag the music to the mp3 player.

itunes is downloaded and installed on your computer. not onto you ipod. once itunes is installed on your computer, open the program and connect your ipod to the computer via usb cable. It will mount to itunes and then just learn how to use it and load your music.

I dont think you need itunes. or windows media player. I neve use any programs that normally come with the device to install. What you can do is.
Connect your ipod to your computer.
Then open the folder which should be Removeable dics or somthing. And if there is a folder saying mp3 or songs or somthing open that. and minimize it
Then whatever music u want right click it and copy then go to that other folder and paste. It should work!.
If it dosent connect or somthing. It might be that the output socket in the ipod is spoil or something.
If your iPod is frozen or won't turn on, your iPod may be paused or on "hold."
Slide the Hold switch and check the screen.
If your iPod is frozen or won't turn on, connect your iPod to your computer, then press and hold the "Menu" and "Select" buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to reset the iPod. Resetting an iPod will not affect your files or preferences.
