Sorry, dont have a solution, I have the SAME problem. Today is 01/03/10 but DVD player in EPG is showing 04/03/10 and has not taped today's programms set on series link. Can anyone help?

Press the HDD and DVD bottons on the player at the same time it will then show DR2 when remote is pressed. Press mode key and the number 2 key on remote, this should now work
Sorry not a solution. My rd-88 dvd/hdd is doing the same - it thinks today (1st March) is the 4th, won't reset. Phoned Toshiba UK 0844 856 0730, it's a known problem that started today. no fix yet.
Got the same problem today. I found the solution online on the installation guide. You need to push the two channel changing buttons on the recorder at the same time for 3 seconds.
