Kenmore Ultra Wash rinse agent not draining

I put approved rinse agent into the filler, but it does not release into the rinse cycle. It appears to just sit here. All other functions appear normal. Any suggestions?

I used to think the same in my dishwasher, but come to find out it actually lasts for a few months so it only uses drops at a time..

I have an Ultra Wash II, 665.1675590 dishwasher that works like a charm, my only problem is that when I put a rinse agent in the rinse dispenser, the minute I close the door it all runs out. I can fill it...

  • 1 .Cut back on the amount of detergent used during the wash cycle. Sometimes this alone will solve your problem.
  • 2 Make sure the appliance is level by adjusting the front feet up or down.
  • 3. Take off the lower front panel and check the hoses for leaks.

Dish washer \does not rinse good leaves white flim

    Hi:
Some things you can do to try to improve your dishwasher's performance:

    1) Make sure your dishwasher rinse agent dispenser has rinse agent in it. The filler is usually close to where you put soap in the dishwasher.,
    2) Consider switching brands of dishwasher detergent, if you are experiencing problems. Depending on the water condition in your area, certain brands work better than others. Ask your neighbors what works well for them.
    3) try different wash cycle's with your dishwasher. Sometimes the economy cycle doesn't work as well as it should.

Kenmore 655 Ultra Wash- dishes not getting clean and have a residue on them when done washing. Arms appear to swing freely.

Does the dishwasher drain the water properly at the end of the rinse cycle. Meaning, is there any leftover water at the bottom of the dishwasher.

Takes almost 2 hours to complete a wash cycle

Have you ever cleaned it out? Its likely due to a plugged drain, not allowing the system to drain fast enough for the normal cycle. Check out my solution on

Kenmore washing machine will not drain

    Replace the timer.
This is a neutral drain machine. If there is no natural pause in the timer at the end of the rinse cycle the timer is bad.

Older dishwasher-kenmore ultra wash. Serial no ff3902085, model no :110764511. I have no info on how to run it. Does it take rinse agent? D. Wickes

    Hi landwix,

    I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: older dishwasher-kenmore ultra wash. Serial no ff3902085, model no :110764511. You have no info on how to run it. Does it take rinse agent?

Operation is simple and yes it will take rinse agent if you so desire. Rinse agent can be purchased either liquid, dry or combined with the soap in a tablet (I don't recomend). The dry comes in a tiny basket you hang from the upper rack. The liquid goes in the dispencer next to the soap dispencer. Just twist the plug counter clockwize about 1/4 turn and lift out, pour in no more than 4 oz. slowly and replace plug. Forget about it for a month. It will use a few drops with each use. Fill soap dispencer about half full and close. Choose wash cycle (normal, etc.) then press start. Thats it.
