I send a document to the printer and the print status remains pending. nothing is sent to the printer. no error message. printer is used on two computers, one with WIN7 and one with WinVista32. Same problem using both computers.
Does anything happen on the printer when the printer print is "pending"? If not, try checking the connections. Also, make sure that when the print menu comes up, you have the right printer selected. (You also have to have the drivers installed. Try reinstalling the printer drivers for your operating system. Hi,
try to unplug the power supply behind the printer. It's the black box where the power cord plugs in behind the printer. That will refresh the printer itself. Then, try printing again. Hope this helps.

Re install the tonner and then go to Printer & Faxes settings and delete the all kinds of pending documents and the go to print a new document and after taht send me the result...........what is happening.
I would go inside the devices and printers and preferences and see if there are any documents pending. Erase those. Check with your little icon on the desktop and check printer status or you could even go to the extreme of deleting canon in add and remove and reinstall from the canon website. Obviously with windows 7 if you just plug in you will get driver installed but printer runs much more smoothly if you first download the software package from canon.com and then link up wirelessly.
But first check that a document isn't pending printing.

-Make sure printer is On -Check the connection of printer to your computer -Check for error lights on printer -Check the printer driver for pending documents to be printed. Delete if there are pending documents. -Lastly reinstall the software driver if all fails

open up the printer folder in your computer and then cancel the pending documents after that open SERVICES.MSC that u can easily find searching in your computer and after that look for print spooler restert that service 3-4 times and then restart your computer after that try and print if this oes not help leave a message i have a solution for that as well
Try to check the queue of the printer. try cancelling the documents pending and make sure printer status on printers and faxes is ready. keep us posted.
- go to printers folder then check the status of your printer - if it is offline, right click the icon and select use printer online...
- check if there is pending documents becuase printer wont print if there is pending document in queue- to clear the pending docs. right click the icon and select cancel pending document
- printer OJ 5610 icon should be in ready status, no pending documents, and the icon has a checkmark as as default printer...
shut down the printer and computer both then on only the pc and cancel allthe pending documents from it then again shut down your pc check allthe wires connected properly then on both printer and pc.it will work properly.feel free for further assistance.

Actually it happens due to mem full in Sent Items with Pending Status.
Solution: --------------
Just delete one message from Sent Items.
Better if you delete all messages from your Sent Items, as you will face again this problem if again Sent Items fulls with messages having status Pending.
