It is not possible to turn om my Sony STR-KS2300 AV receiver after tun it of. Switch on again is only possible when i pul out the mainplug and put it in again.

I have never heard it called an 'IR Profile', but this is the programmable remote code.

If the amber light doesn't light up when you plug the cord in the wall outlet, then you may have a broken cable within the cord. If the light lights up, press the left button for 5 seconds and the press it again to turn the system on.
If the power cable is broken, this could be at the plug end, change the plug and see. If not, you will have to service it in the case there is an internal fuse blown.

Yes, it only supports an Active Subwoofer. That's what the Sub Pre-Out is for.

Your sub will take that input, possibly split to two RCA connectors, and its internal amplifier will do the rest. Its own manual will give the specifics.
