I left the network connections on when typing my MEP code to unlock my phone! And it said my code was accepted but now i cant make calls. Is there any way to solve this? I would appreciate any help!

Put an not accepted simcard in your phone and turn it on.
- The phone will ask if you want to enter an unlock code (aka MEP Code)
- Click Yes- Enter the unlock code and press enter
- Phone is now UNLOCKED!
- Go to "Manage Connections" and turn Mobile network on

2. Select advanced system settings => and then Sim card
3. Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
4. Type MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
5. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type in the unlock code provided by UnlockTotalk.com and press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm

This is the solution for anyone have mep code 0 left in his handset that no attemt balance for enter code.

1. Please install black berry desktop manager. (its free download from black berry website)
2. Connect handset with pc.
3. Open this software its shows booting rom and ask u phone unlock code(note: its not asking mep code just user code).if not phone code inserted then it update rom automatically.
4. Now your handset reboot, then you got mep code(10 left) in network lock section.

It is very easy to unlock Blackberry storm 9530.i did find a third party. i had unlocked mine.it work perfectly.which might help you find the cheapest solution.Have you tried your network provider for free code?

Before you start, you MUST have an Unauthorized Sim Card inserted. An unauthorized Sim Card is a Sim Card that is NOT belong to the provider of the phone. Example: If you have a Verizon phone, you need to insert a T-Mobile Sim Card inside the phone before turn it on. 1. Power on the phone.
2. Phone will said "MEP check failed. Do you want to enter MEP unlock code". Select Yes.
3. "Enter Network MEP code (# left)". Enter the unlock code.
4. Press Enter, you should see “Code Accepted”
5. You need to check Network Connection is set on GSM/UMTS. Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and make sure it GSM/UMTS.
6. Once GSM/UMTS is selected. You can now ready to make phone call.
Notice: If the network not working after your phone is fully charged and unlocking process “Code Accepted”. You must change from Verizon CDMA network to GSM Global Network a few times, after change from Verizon CDMA to GSM Global 3 times is completed, leaves it on GSM Global Network. Now it should work. Not necessary ...to unlock the device get the network unlock code from service provider, call them and tell them you want to unlock your phone because you are going overseas if they ask, but they won't and they will unlock it for you. They will send you the code to do it. here is the way you can unlock the 8800, which I used for my phone. Just get the code from service provider 1. Press the Menu key 2. Scroll to and select Manage Connections. Select Turn All Connections Off. 3. Press the red end key or the Escape key to go back to the Home screen. 4. Scroll to and select the Options icon. 5. Scroll to and select Advanced Options. 6. Scroll to and select SIM Card. 7. Type MEPD Note: When typing in MEPD the letters will not appear on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on the device. 8. Type MEP then hold ?ALT? key and type number 2. Note: When typing in MEP ATL 2 the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the ?Enter Network MEP? box. 9. Enter the unlock code. 10.
