Need parts for Thermoplan Black and White CTS-2 espresso machine

Similar to the crema on quality espresso, this "foam" is an indicator of the freshness of your coffee. If it's thick and creamy white, it's very fresh. If it's present but thin and watery, it's less fresh.

The foam found at the top of your cup is "crema" comes from the espresso making process. Espresso is prepared in a metal contraption, which you pound down and hot water is pumped through at great pressures. I called customer support at 866-528-8323 on two occasions over the past 8 or 10 years and each time purchased replacement O rings.

Problems with level on the CTS-2 Thermoplan espresso machine? Clean your probes. Make sure your steam boiler has a pressure of zero before you do this. It's best to have the boiler cold before you start. Remove both probes and clean them. Usually sand paper works. Use 1/4 copper tubing and bend it. Scratch the inside of the tank multiple times to remove the scale from the inside of the tank on that spot. This helps with grounding and the level system. This level error could also be related to a lack of water flow to the steam module or a scale problem at the inlet of the boiler. Sometimes the level board is bad or the water pump.. Also, the fuse may have blown in the the power drawer. Pray it's that! Contact [email protected] for help or parts as we have overstocked. Good luck!

There are thermostats (2) on the side of the boiler colsest to the side of the machine. There is a reset button on each between the wires terminals. Push both.

If you are unable to get the part directly from BRAUN by calling 1-800-272-8611 (if your machine still falls within the warranty they will usually replace it for free) then I would recommend that you try Ebay as corny as it sounds because you could likely buy a used/new set for not much more than you would pay for the "ordered part" from replacement part sites.

Also, if Braun no longer carries the part you need you could also try asking them if they have a diffuser from a different model that would work with your machine.
