The photos in The Kodak Easyshare Gallery are stored in a folder on your computer. If you know the name of the folder, you should be able to find it and open the folder to view all the photo files (probably .jpg files).

Assuming you use Windows XP
There is a way of finding all the photos on your computer by doing the following:

Click Start\Search\For Files and Folders\
When the window opens
Click All files and folders
In the top window type *.jpg then click Search

This will display all the .jpg files on your computer.
When the search has finished you can simply click on any file then copy and paste it anywhere you want.

If you don't find any files do the following then try again.
Open My Documents
Click Tools (at the top of the screen)
Click Folder Options
Click View
This will open a small window. Look down the list for the following option:-
Hide extensions for known file types
Make sure that there is no tick next to it. If there is a tick, click it, and this will untick the option.
Then click Apply

Then follow the instructions again for searching as shown above.
If you follow these instructions you should be able to put your photos in a different folder.

Please let me know how you get on...

How do I transfer my pictures from the kodak easyshare to the shutterfly gallery? I cannot even transfer my recently added pictures to the Kodak gallery.

If your pictures are in jpg format, you can download Picasa, free from Google at http://picasa.google.com/ and use it to upload your photos. You can also do it using your browser if it handles Flash. If not, use the one by one uploader at Shutterfly. I recommend using Picasa, because it will find all the pictures on your PC and sort them by date. It includes a photo editor and facial recognition too. I would drag all your pictures to the "Pictures" folder to make it easier to work with them.

How to install software for kodak m530

Two software programs are recommended for your camera:
  1. KODAK Share Button App:
    • Upload your tagged pictures and videos from your camera to the KODAK Gallery for FACEBOOK, FACEBOOK Social Network, YouTube and FLICKR Services, or e-mail.
    • Transfer pictures and videos to your computer.
    • Set the date and time on your camera from your computer.

  2. EASYSHARE Software
  • Organize your pictures with your own tags, star ratings, and date and time stamps, then use the search feature to quickly find any picture in your collection.
  • Edit your pictures with ease; select from a variety of simple tools that reduce red-eye, improve lighting, remove wrinkles and blemishes, and add text.
  • Create photo projects online or at home; choose from hundreds of templates and designs to create album pages, cards, invitations, and much more.

Suddently my movies won't download onto my computer Kodak DX 6440

Close the Kodak EasyShare software from your system tray (down by the clock).
Go to www.apple.com and download apple quicktime.
After you have installed quicktime successfully, add the videos to the software.
Since the pictures were downloaded successfully, videos are also transferred.

They are usually saved in your My Documents\My Pictures\Kodak Pictures.

Trouble uploading "duplicate" pictures

I've just found a fix for this problem after fighting it myself for a week. Don't use the transfer window that Easyshare gives you when you connect your camera (or which is also available under the tools/cameras/viewers dropdown menu).

Cancel this window if it comes up. Then select "add pictures" from the file dropdown menu (as if you were going to add pictures from your hard-drive to the easyshare gallery). The camera will appear in the folder list. Open the m1063 folder, select the pictures you want (or select all) then click the "add pictures" button.

Can't transfer photos from computer to digital frame

Copying pictures from EasyShare software:

1. Install EasyShare software (free download at www.kodak.com/go/sw)

2. Connect the USB cable.

3. On your computer, open EasyShare software. Select the pictures in My Collection and drag them into the Picture tray.

4. In the menu bar, select File and then Copy to the Kodak Drive letter.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

5. Select the frame source to which you are copying.

6. Select Best for Digital Picture Frame to reduce the resolution of the pictures you are copying. Full resolution is unnecessary and quickly fills up the frame's memory.

7. Click Copy. Pictures are copied to your frame.

8. Unplug the USB cable and on the frame check the pictures that were just copied.
