I have a macbook but no mini driver reader. Can I download a driver for a prolectrix usb turntable?

Just type USB to RCA convertor in Google and take your pick. There are plenty in the UK and some very cheap.

Google Audacity and download the software from their site along with the mp3 lame encoding file

you could put the mini-cd into another computer and put all the files on another cd or a flash drive then transfer to the macbook.

Hi there; I had the same problem, not being able to install or even view the files on the disc. I have XP therefore out of curiosity I ran it on a PC with Vista and it worked; so I promptly transferred the disc back into my disc drive and bingo it worked. .....Don't ask me how...but it did. Good luck
