White Display on Symbol MC3000

Hi Guys,

My symbol will only display a white screen and nothing else.
Tried another PC but same still.

other Scanner are okay with same model also.

Please advice on what happened or any solutions?

Can you put the device in IPL mode? You do this by doing a cold-reset 1,9 and power then after the led below the display flashes press and hold the yellow scan button. If you get the IPL screen, select the reset option and restart the device. If it still hangs on the white screen then you will need to re-image the device using the TCM utility which you can download from Symbol/Motorola support site. You will also need to download the correct hex image for the device you have.

Seems like you need to setup the communications protocol. You need to setup the type of communication that the device you are connected too if serial port then RS232 plus baud rate data bits parity etc.

Scanner 'beeps' etc, but no output on the screen!?

1ST OF ALL CHECK THE SCREEN, IF ITS NOT THE SCREEN THEN CHECK THE DISPLAY I.C. EITHER OF THIS COULD BE THE FAULT WITH YOUR PHONE.

How to upgrade my mc3000 from wince 4.2 to wince 5.0 platform

MC3000 CE4.2 Pro OS to CE5.0 Pro OS upgrade license for MC3070 Configurations. MC3070 S/N must be supplied to Symbol for each device to be upgraded (Microsoft requirement). This application enables device to load CE 5.0 Pro OS available only from Symbol’s Technology Center.

I have a dell inspiron 15 when I turn it on the dell symbol and insprion page comes up then goes to a black screen. When I press F8 I get black screen with white bars at the top and bottom and a white bar...

You are having a display problem with the LCD, so kindly have it checked from dell and get the LCD display replaced from them if your laptop is under warranty

Wont show image in the lcd display while taking photo?

Can you more clearly what you mean "while taking photo"?If lcd not display image...is that any text or symbol in the lcd?If you can still see the symbol or text in the lcd, I think you have trouble in your lens or ccd.
Trouble in the lens usually make the lcd display white screen. And, if ccd trouble the lcd display white horisontal line and if so hard broken the lcd display black screen, but the symbol or text is shown.

Blanck white screen

it was fixed by doing a warm boot.

turn of your handterminal MC3000

Press 7+ 9 + power button at the same time, and hold. Then the warm reboot will begin.

after that, follow the instruction on the screen.

White vertical lines

the LVDS cable between the units mainboard and LCD is loose, or the LCD driver IC is on the way out. the only way to fix this is to reseat the cable or replace the mainboard
