I tried turning my MP3 player on and nothing. I thought it may have been the battery so I put in a new one and it still didn't work. Plugged it into the computer and it was not detected. Is my MP3 player dead?

Hi i hoked my sansa mp3 player in to the usb and then i took it out and didnt turn on what do i do

You are suppose you use the safely remove hardware option,
you just don't unplug a usb devise without telling windows
to release it.

Remove the battery, then put it back in, restart windows and plug it in,
wait till it see;s it, then in the bottom rt corner of windows in your
taskbar is a little pic of a usb plug, mouse over it and click it, a window will pop up that say stop devise. Make sure you know what letter is listed
under my computer for it, it might be E,or F.

I do not know how to conect mp3 player to the comuter

Hi, simply connect the USB wire that came with your MP3 player to the computer via the USB slot and it will automatically find and install the relevant drivers as this devise is plug and play.

Hope this helps

you don't have to plug it into just a computer, all you have to do is plug the USB into a USB on anything with a USB port (xbox 360, playstation 2, playstation 3, etc...)

Windows vista does not acknowledge Opal M4002a

If the player is not recognize try to connect the mp3 player ona different usb port and check if it will be detected if still not detected better connect this mp3 player to another pc and check if it will be detected on that second pc if not detected there's a possibilty that the mp3 usb functions is not working fine.

RCA OPAL M4002 mp3 player

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Hey

It is easier to reformat the mp3 player. When the mp3 is plugged in to the PC, go to my computer, the double click the mp3 player there. You will see internal storage, right click that and click format. You will lose all the stuff on the mp3 player.
