Frigidaire plhs267za side/side water dispenser leaks while ice maker cycles

Based off what you have described your Frigidaire refrigerator's icemaker is not filling with water and it is still dispensing from the door. Sometimes if the filter is bad water may still dispense but will not make ice. It is recommended to change out the water filter every six to nine months.

You can also pull the refrigerator out from the wall and check the fill tube to make sure it is not frozen. The fill tube is a green line that connects to the upper right corner of your refrigerator. Make sure to turn off the water before checking the line. You should be able to grab the line and twist 45 degrees counter clockwise to pull the tube out. Check and make sure no ice has formed, if ice has built up inside of the line hold the tube in your hand for three to five minutes to loosen it out and remove it. To reinstall the tube insert it back and twist it 45 degrees clockwise. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

It is best just to replace the ice maker. there are many small parts in the ice maker. You may be able to purchase just the gears but they are usually a factory order.

I understand the ice maker is dispensing water when you use the dispenser on the door of your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# LPHS2687KF0. I also see that you have a Diode kit and are not sure if it would be this that is needed or a water valve that would be needed. I understand you are experiencing trouble with your Frigidaire refrigerator not dispensing ice from the dispenser on model#PLHS267ZA. First, check to see that both doors are closed. The dispenser will not operate if the freezer door is not closed to make the safety switch located where the door meets the outer wall of the freezer. Close the door and make sure nothing is blocking the door keeping it from closing. Another troubleshooting tip is to disconnect the power to your refrigerator for 5 minutes, then reconnect and try to dispense ice. If you are still experiencing the same problem there could be a problem with the motor releasing the ice. If your appliance is still in warranty, you may want to check with the manufacturer to determine any warranty coverage, or if there are any professionals in your area who will not only be able to ensure this is the appropriate fix, but may actually save you some cost if is something simpler to repair. I would look under the fridge for a drip pan that might be full, so when it defrost it overflows the pan and runs on the floor. If not that you must have a blockage somewhere in the drain line that runs to the drip pan. Take out the shelves and take off the plastic panels to access the drain and drain line, pour some warm water down the drain to unplug it.

The water valve sounds like it may be leaking and the drain hole is plugged if this is a side by side the drain is in the very bottom back. sounds like it is actually a two problem situation you have. watervalve bottom back outside frige and drain in the back bottom of freezer.

make sure that all the water lines are fitted properly in there connections.make sure the filter is also properly seated

The guide that funnels the water into the ice maker needs to be replaced. The cause of your problem is that water is leaking into the back, freezing there, and blocking the air flow. Mine sounded like an idling semi truck with engine problems.
