Camera is saying lens error 41
I have the same problem ..
it was error 16 AND 21 .
im not entirely sure about the error 27 or any other
numbers ;
but i do know for a fact its because there
is something like dirt ; hairspray ; make up etc.
in the lens .
idk how to take the camera apart ..
but your best luck is to kind of jar your camera with your
palm or a book or something .
mine fell on the floor at first and was fixed ,
but today i dropped it in a little bit of sand and hasnt gone
back down yet .
im hoping i can fix it :/

My camrea is lens error 21. I tried that jabbing it with your hand thing and it made it worse. I got it to close but it wont open or anything. Does anymore know how to fix this? My mom will freak is she found out about this. Please Help

The lens is stuck out and won't go back in, the camera shuts off when I try to take a picture. I have taken the batterey out its only a few months old

my camara is saying lens error 22. lens won't open. i can see the pics i have taken, but can't take any pics. taken the battery out. i have had my camara for only 9 months sofar. really like the camara, but not the probs. my nephew just graduated from Navy Bootcamp today and it sure would have been nice to have a good working camara during the ceremony. any suggestions???

My lens is stuck out and will not go back in. Lens error 41. what do I do? I called the Sanyo service line and they told me that it would cost $96 plus $10 for shipping and handling. You can go to walmart right now and pay $94 and get a brand new one.

Has ANYONE found ANY WAY to solve this yet? It just happened to me last week- my camera was connected to the TV and fell off twice- the first time it was fine, the second time it appeared fine until I realized the lens didn't go back in when I turned off the camera. It still takes pictures, videos, and works in general, but the lens is unprotected now and it's hard to take places. It also cannot zoom- when I try to zoom, Lens Error 41 pops up on the screen and it shuts itself off. I have watched the lens when I turn the camera off, and it actually comes out farther instead of even trying to retract. Any ideas are appreciated; I love this camera and it has been nothing but perfect for me. If I fix this problem, my camera will not be sitting on any high objects without something securely holding it there. Someone out there must have an answer...
mine is the SAME problem. i didnt drop it or anything at all. it was in my boyfriend's pocket, then i took it out to take pictures and it was working fine. then i seriously JUST TURNED AROUND AND WALKED MAYBE 5 FEET and it wouldnt work. the screen was black, tried turning it on and it says lens error 27, but for some reason i can record audio????

Yes error 27 i think will not take pictures but you can view the pictures already taken only.
