No input usually indicates the machine is having trouble getting a video signal from the monitor. Check and make sure the monitor cable is connected properly. If you have another monitor also test the machine with another monitor.

Only blue light comes on will not work.

Make sure your monitor connectors are seated and the monitor is powered. If so, borrow another similar monitor to test your PC. It could easily be your monitor or your video card. With a substitute monitor you should be able to find out quickly.

VX2835M takes a long time to turn on depending on the time turned off

You have a unit with a failing power supply. When the parts called capacitors in the power supply start to fail they can't hold the charge like they should and it take a while for them to build up the charge and allow the power supply to turn on. Once they have a charge built up they work fine until the unit i turned off for a while and their charge drains then it starts over again. Here is a link to a parts kit that you can use to rebuild the power supply board and return the monitor to a working condition.

Monitor blue light comes on shows emachines logo and color bars then monitor turns off and light turns yellow

your monitor is beleiving it is not receiving any signal from your pc. 1 make sure your cables are secure. 2 make sure your pc is on. 3 borrow a monitor from a freind to see if your pc is sending the signal out, if the borrowewed monitor is showing a picture, hook yours back up. 4 if still not picture your mpcb or video pcb in the monitor is bad.

Dell computer won't come on...only get yellow light, no blue

If the Tower has a blue light, then it appears to be working, I'd check the cable connection to the video port on the tower and the INPUT Select Button of the Monitor (I've seen people change the input select to DVI when connected analog for example)

Hp pavilion monitor not starting up

That will happen if the monitor isn't getting a video signal from the computer. Are you sure your computer is actually starting up properly? Are you hearing the normal Windows startup sounds? If the computer and Windows seem to be working properly, the video card or integrated video may have failed. Have you tried another monitor to verify that the computer is working?

If the monitor is in fact bad, it would be better to replace it than to try a repair. New LCD monitors are quite inexpensive and you'll gain lots of desk space.
