Print quality problem with Windows 7 and HP DeskJet3650.

Have a new HP desk top computer with Windows 7. My HP DeskJet 3650 printer and my Kodak EasyShare 5500 both print with a red shadow. Have changed all ink cartridges, cleaned print heads and aligned print heads. Both printers work great using Windows XP. Have downloaded drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled both printers. Same result.

You need drivers for win 7 only for the two printers you have .some of the mfg, have not got all the bugs out as yet. Im in the same boat .had to get a new model so i could print. Check windows web. site for driver 7up dates.hope this helps

I want to print in grayscale

Try a different driver. "Add a printer" in "My Computer"/"Printers" or "Control Panel"/"Printers". The 6122 will print from the HP 920, 930, 932, 940 & 950 drivers also - (which are included with your Windows XP and Vista systems). All these drivers seem to be the same print quality in my systems.

You may have to go to www.hp.com/support and then search your your 3650 to get there.

Installing hp deskjet 3650 printer to e-machines laptop

There are several things to do with it.

1. try to re-install your printer driver
2. check all the cables or the usb ports
3. try to use other printers if you had some
4. try to re-install your windows
5. if all of those wont work its time for you to buy a new printer or change it if warranty is still available.

Print wont print

Hello, You may check to insure the USB cable at the printer or at the computer is connected properly and didn't come loose by chance. Try disconnecting the USB cable from the computer, wait ten seconds then reconnect. This will let Windows "find" the printer again. Worse case scenario, you could delete the printer through device manager, reboot you computer and Windows will "find" the printer and reinstall the driver automatically on restart. Also check that the ink cartridge(s) is seated properly.
