After changing out the black ink cartridge it keeps saying that I have an alignment problem and to check paper alignement. I have done both 5 times now and it is still saying I have a problem when there is no problem with either of these things! HELP!
Try this
Turn off you printer
remove the cartridges
and try gently moving the ink cartridges carrier from left to right
for about a min.
also you can try to wipe machine oil on the bar that holds the ink cartridge carrier
then put the cartridges back inside the carrier
then turn on you printer
and try to print again
If problem persist
TRY THIS:
turn off your printer
unplug the power cable from the printer
lift you printer and put it in an upside down position
then shake the printer from left to right
see if there's any foreign objects stuck inside the printer
I had the same problem. I only really need the black cartridge in there but had both in there when I put in a new black cartridge. If you only want black to print, take out the color cartridge and go through the alignment process again. Otherwise it may be the other cartridge and you might need to replace both (money maker for the cartridge makers). The endless loop problem is a disaster for Lexmark & I can't believe they can't put together a software fix.
