Hey I lost the installation CD for my webcam its a VF-0050 Creative Webcam Pro! but I downloaded the Driver and it still wont show up help please?

1st You download Webcam Driver.
install vf-0050 driver
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

then scroll down until you see the tab that says SOFTWARE AUTOUPDATE [click it]. That will take you into another page which will explain what the "software autoupdate" is. -You really don't need to read all of it- Just make sure you have your webcam plugged in. If you do not then the system will not be able to find what software that is needed. [click ACCEPT] You will end up on another page which will show all the software that you need. [Make sure all of the boxes are checked] Then download.

You may have to turn off your pop-up blocker in order for this to work.

technical support, downloads, you will have three boxes , first click WEBCAMERAS, next click WEBCAM then WEBCAM Live! Pro.

save this to desktop and when it finishes just click on the icon and accept the license agreement and off it goes, make sure your web cam is not plugged in until the driver installation completes, windos xp will automatically tell you when it has installed the new camera.
