Hello i was wondering how do i erase songs off my mp3 player so i can add new ones on to it please help me i am new with it thanks
I am having the same problem with my gpx mw3837 1gb mp3 player.
Well if u go to windows media player go to sync right click your mp3 and hit shuffle, it worked for me when i had the problem
You have to right click the song on your media player when it's on "now playing" then you choose open file location and right click again then choose delete
U gotta take off the hold. u know slide thingy before you conect it to the computer

On windows XP pull up windows explorer go to my computer and look for your mp3, towards to bottom of the list. click on the + next to the name, then click audio, music and the album name for the song you want, right click on the song, then delete.I just tried it on mine and it worked. I haven't tried windows 2000 yet. Hope this works for you

With the mp3 player connected go to start and open computer drag icon for the gpx audio player so that it is a shortcut icon on your computer then double click on the gpx icon go to audio player and click on the icon for music or albums and right click to delete if no icons for music and and albums appear right click the audio player and format it a couple of times then x out and when you go back on the short cut icon for the gpx when you click on the audio player the icon for music and albums should appear. it took me 2 hours to figure out how to mget the songs of this stupid mp3

Same prob. Computer doesn't detect the drive in the Mp3 player. It will
upload using Windows media 10 but of course now it's full and I can't
delete anything.
I can't erase songs either. Where do you go besides windows?
i added songs onto my mp3 player....ok, now they wont leave... i wanted to add new ones NOW they say there was an error... im sooo lost.. my other mp3 player all you have to do is go into menu but there is none on this mp3.... help me please
said solution doesn't work because it is write protected some how.
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.
this is what mine saying when i try to delete the music that is on my mp3 player
