I bought a ski gondola made by Lemax. The motor does not seem to be strong enough to run the ski lift. I have been wanting this piece for so long and finally found it used at an unbelievable price. Please help if you can

I have a lemax gondola ride as well and the problem seems to be the weight of the gondolas tends to pull the cable off of the drive units to which they are attached. If you have ever looked at BRAWA BR6280
set there is a tower in the middle of the setup that allows for holding
the cable in elevated position as it goes around. You might need to construct a tower with a couple of reels on it (someone suggested
using the reels out of a audio casette) for the cable to travel around/on
Could try and see if that helps.....

Hi Folks I think everyone thought I have a baby

I noticed another FixYa guru here answered a question on another strand that applies to yours:
Also, please note this person on FB claims to be the Lemax fix-all guru. You can ask them more specific questions:http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:0YBPB3sM28kJ:https://www.facebook.com/eHobbyTools%3Ffilter%3D2+&cd=10&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

The Knex website has building help for this problem. There answer is as follows:
Make sure all rods and connectors are fully hooked together, especially the blue and gray connectors. Even one peice not fully hooked together can twist the model just enough to jam the gears. (You may have it hooked together correctly prior to jam problems so it is good to check since I found a loose on holding the motor.) The chain links need to all be attached in the same direction, and fully hooked. The chain also needs to be on the tower with the hooks facing down and in as the chain runs on the outside of the tower. (Chain should be outside on the front and inside in the back with the 5 yellow bar side in the front.) Check that all gears are positioned correctly according to the instructions and the teeth facing the correct way. If you are still unable to get the seat to drop, you may remove the top yellow cross rod that the chain runs over - the model will also work with this piece removed.

I did all of these steps with my son and his still had trouble dropping all the time. It still seems light so the seat didn't have enough weight to drop with gravity during the non-moving cycle of the orange half gear. We decided to tape on 2 marble passengers to see if that helped. It did!!! When searching for other solutions, I noticed a UTube video that added people also so this seems to be a common solution. Try it or some other light weight added and see if it solves your problem.

Snow Bear Winch..... Will not pick up plow at times. Motor seems strong drum will not turn,,,slips. Is there a replacement part available without buying an entire winch? Thanks

Hi there, I had the same problem, my winch has a chain to lift the plow.I put oil on the chain to keep from rusting and thats what started my troubles. So I took the mount off that holds the chain on the winch and there's a brass piece that is squeezed behind it.Cleaned and tightened it and works fine now. If you take motor off winch to check gears[ DON'T USE GREASE] when reassembling! When its cold it doesn't want to turn, just use motor oil or spray lube

Kawasaki jet ski starter motor removal

To get access to the starter you will probably have to lift the motor out of the machine. Most Kawaski hulls do not give you much room to work. When you take the exhaust off you may have enough room to unbolt the starter.

Need wiring diadram for cdi box on 95 kawasaki 650 ts jet ski it has two black one white one purple wire and is made by mitsubishi. one of the black wires was diconnected. bought it used from a freind and...

Sometimes a bad stator can test good on a ohms meter, but under a load (motor running and in the water) it cant supply enough spark to run properly. It will barley idle when the ski is in the water. The stator is behind the flywheel, the coils are located in the electrical box. Coils on kawasakis hardly ever go bad. You most likely need a new stator.

some times there behind motor mounts and other things you can purchase expadable rubber freeze plugs you might have to lift the motor a little but you shouldn't have to remove the motor unless you popped a freeze plug between the motor and transmision hope this helps

if the motor is reaching full revs look at the jet assemby for fouling or prop damage. If it is not reaching full revs get authorised mechanic to fix it, it will be cheaper in the long run.
