I have an HP6940. It is not printing , just spitting out black sheets. I tried to print out a spread sheet and now all the lights are blinking and all I get is an "error" message on my screen. HELP!!!The green on button is blinking. The arrow down button is blinking and the two red lights to the left of the arrow are steady on...only at times they blink also. I've tried to shut it off...no go. I've put in fresh ink cartridges and nothing happens. I pressed the "x" button and nothing happens. I just keep getting this pop up notice that says an error has been detected.

Assuming you are using MS Excel, try going into page setup, sheet, and check the setting for 'print black & white'. If it is checked, then try unchecking it.
Hmmm, try feeding a sheet of paper into the manual feed slot... you might have inadvertantly sent a Manual feed job, and the printer is waiting for a sheet to be fed by you.
is the piece of paper removed? or there parts of the paper w/c was nt removed? if the whole paper was removed already, try to use this steps..step 1. remove the power cord of the printer. step 2. press the power on/off of the printer while plugging the power cord. and wait for 10 seconds before releasing the on/off button..then put on your printer. but if some pieces of broken paper inside the printer try to clear it first then try printing.
