My carpet cleaner (bissell proheat plus) is not steaming, dispensing cleaner. Seems like there's a little thingy that should be spinning or turning..... When I work a small area of carpet, it just leaves behind dry blobs of carpet gunk like pet hair. I had to use a carpet sweeper to clean up. FYI - I filled the cleaning fluid container and after trying to clean the carpet, it did empty out but the carpet isn't wet. Any tips? The manual doesn't help.

too much cleaner in the mixture, do you see the little fan type thing in the window spin usually when you dispense cleaner well it won't spin and dispense cleaner if you get it too soapy or concentrated.
When it doesn't dispense water an cleaner like that it means that the pump belt needs to be replaced. Here is a link to the belt you nee and the manual:
Remove the water tank and shampoo dispenser, unplug the machine, turn it over and check for any obstructions, carpet fluff or pet hair is usually the problem. Hope this helps.
Listen to see if you can hear pump run when pressing button, if the pump does run, than either you have a clogged nozzle or screen in water fill compartment.
Bad Pump. You pump is where the belt attaches to spin the brushes and also puts water on the floor. Take it to you local Best Buy to be serviced or a local appliance shop which may service it.
