As per the last persons solution the key icon does indicate you have locked the photo. First select the photo you want to delete, press menu, select playback menu, the key icon appears, press the weird shaped arrow button to the right of the OK; phot unlocks and allows to delete!!

The key icon indicates you have "locked" the photo. You did this in the menu. Go back into your menu and unlock the photo.

Transfer problem

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

WHEN I TAKE PHOTO'S THEY APPEAR ON MY CAMERA BUT WHEN I TAKE THE MEMORY CARD OUT THERE ARE NO PHOTO'S ON THE CARD OR THE CAMERA SO I CANT PRINT MY PHOTO'S THEY CAN ONLY BE SEEN ON MY CAMERA

When you take pictures, they go to your phone's memory. You need to go view picture then there is an option on the menu of the screen where you have to click COPY TO CARD or SAVE TO CARD. Anything with this wording in you phone will transport your pictures from the phone to your card.
