Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) is a deprecated algorithm to secure IEEE 802.11 wireless networks. WEP is sometimes inaccurately referred to as Wireless Encryption Protocol. In 2003 WEP had been superseded by Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA)
You should define a WEP key or much better a WPA key inside your router to avoid other people accessing your network. In this way only who knows this key can access to your network using the wireless signal.

Only real trouble shooting I can suggest is power cycle the modem and router. If you have the Comcast Digital Voice modem make sure you push the reset button on the back as there is a battery in the unit and unplugging won't do anything.

Sorry but to give you complete details is not something that I or anyone can take the time. Go to netgear.com and look in their support section, lookup your router and download the manual. latest firmware is available there as well, there is no drivers for a router.

theres a million things that can interfer with wireless...tin...cell phones, cordless phones and the like..but 11mbps is still really fast and chances are, your internet connection isnt even half that so your speed on the net shouldnt be effected...1mbps is usualy enough to load any website in seconds.
if your PC is slow, not jsut on the internet but in general (starting up, running apps) then its an issue with the pc and not the wireless.
but as a heads up, not trying to be mean, but netgear and belkin are cheap equipment.
