In Control Panel, click on "System." When the System dialog appears, Click on "Device Manager."
In Device Manager, click on "Disk Drives." That should drop-down and reveal your USB drive as a USB device.
Right click on your USB device and click uninstall, then reboot.
This procedure will uninstall the drivers for your device. After rebooting insert the USB drive into a port and a "Found new hardware" window should popup. allow internet access and reinstall the driver--this should be pretty much automatic; just make sure you allow the program to search the internet for the latest driver.
Good Luck!
