Apple iPod nano 5th Generation Logo

My ipod nano froze while i was listening to my music so i restarted it by holding the center button and the menu button. now all it shows is the apple on my screen. when i press play, i can hear my music but after one song it shuts off and i have to restart it again and i still cant see anything but the apple.

Try going in itunes, right clicking on the song, and click create AAC version. The song may be in the wrong format which is why it won't finish playing it. Hope this helps!

Please help my IPOD! It froze on the same screen w/ the light on

Slide the hold/lock switch on and off and then hold down the "Menu" button and the center button for about 5 seconds. If this doesnt restart your iPod, try the same procedure, but instead, hold down the "Menu" button and the "Play/Pause" button for 5 seconds. This should reset your iPod.

switch the hold button on and off, then hold horizontally, and push the menu button and center button at the same time. hold them down untill the ipod restarts and the apple logo apears. If that doesen't work, plug into the newest itunes program, and push restore.
