How do i make my logitech cordless skype phone connect

If you use windows vista, and installed windows live messenger, you wil have alway`s this problem, solution is, dont let msn start up with your pc.
The best way, under software remove msn messenger, and install again en dont let it start wen your pc start up. skype and msn dont working together.

this dosnt work this way,
go to the logitech site, look fore the right set, disconnect the usb connector from de pc, then download/install the right software en untill you asked fore plug in the usb connector then plug in, it will working, unless you have installed msn under windows vista, this is not working togehter.

make sue your on the latest software and there is no interference from other 2.4 ghz devices. also place receiver at a distance from the pc it self the emi can disconnect the phone.

i had the same problem on vista operating system, i uninstalled windows messenger live and all is well. for some reason messenger conflicts with it.

Make sure you do nothing for the graphics option or it will mess up your settings. Also, enable the "always run in compatibility mode" option.

After doing this, it worked perfect on my vista64 and my XP64. Have not tried Windows 7 x64 yet.

You can uninstall the Skype Application and reinstall it in compatiblity mode and chose XP. To do this right click on the install exe and go to the compatibility tab/section and from the drop down chose XP. Then try reinstalling it.
That has solved a lot of issue for me with Vista.

The logitech Download Centre doesn't provide any Mac Drivers for your device.

The best thing to do is either wait for the drivers to come out or buy another product supported by Mac

Haven't experienced this one, it should open if you right click on the icon in the tray at the bottom.

However you should still be able to change your Skype options, click on "skype", then "Tools", then "Options", then "Audio Settings", change microphone and speakers to "logitech" or whatever your computer has listed your device as. This should have the effect of changing logitech to "use handset" and gets the same result. Unfortunately the phone will never work as good as it should, for instance I can't make test calls. Its the Logitech Download Centre.

You will find your Vista Drivers for your skype phone there.

Handset shows DISCONNECTED.
On Logitech support page lookup document 6674 (search).
Boot computer with minimum og services and programs running.
Start Logitech handset program - this starts skype.
the handset will disconnect.
As soon I start the new LIVE MESSENGER BETA - the hanset disconnect.
Therefor I installed a msn messenger extension in Skype extras.
This gives me the opertunity to use msn messenger without using the LIVE MESSENGER PROGRAM - if I do - Logitech Handset will not work.
