shut down computer are if computer is shut down unplug keyboard from back of computer, restart computer and after the desktop is up and running replug keyboard back into the computer.The computer will then search for the correct driver and install it.
if the programmable keys are not working, then likely the correct driver is not in use.
what is the make/model ? Go to the Device Manager and see if the Keyboard is being identified correctly or if just the Generic windows KB driver is being used.
