Pairing tomtom 630. it connects and works 1 time then tomtom complains about phone not responding. i did connect and after this i authorized it should work. tried with different nokia 5800 same problem. Also tried with an upgraded tomtom also same problem. tomtom connects well with different mobiles.

    I already tried this. If you look at my question you can see i authorized the 630 to automaticaly connect.
    Also tried it without and pressed yes when it asks.
    It always works one time after the first time i pair them. Then it says phone not responding.

Some mobiles require you to confirm each connection by responding to a message on the phone screen. My older Samsung phone did the same thing if I didn't hit the "accept" on the phone at the right time. My newer phone does it automatically, but it has a setting to disable the automatic connection. You might want to look at your bluetooth options on the phone for the tomtom connection and see if there is an automatic connection option.

If this helps, please rate, if not, please clarify so I can do some more research.

Thanks!

I have paired my blackberry with my tomtom go 930 the phones says paired but the tom tom can't seem to find the phone?

I detest cell phones, but here's how I got my wife's BB8100 and BB8800 to connect to my GO930:
1) Press the button with 7 dots in a circular pattern (Menu?);
2) Click "Options";
3) Click "Bluetooth";
4) Click "TomTom GO 930" (yours may differ);
5) Click "Full Menu";
6) Click "Options";
7) Change "Discoverable" to "Yes";
8) Press the button with the curved arrow (Return?);
9) Click "Save";
10) Click the curved-arrow button until the menus are gone.
The TomTom should now be able to connect to the BB.

Had to do something similar on the iPhone 4 before it could connect (haven't found a "Trust" option yet).

What is the bluetooth passkey code?

When you are pairing your TOMTOM with a BlueTooth-enabled cellular phone, your TomTom will ask you to enter "0000" when the phone asks for a pin. In order not to have to enter the pass code every time you want to connect to the phone, declare the TomTom as a trusted device.
When you are pairing the two make sure that the phone is "visible for xxxx minutes" or "always visible".

My RAZR V3 won't pair with 2009 Chevrolet Silverado bluetooth

http://www.gm.com/vc/bluetooth/index.jsp?brand=chevrolet&landing=true
PAIRING A PHONE WITH YOUR 2009 Silverado

Before you begin:

To take advantage of the Bluetooth for Chevrolet functionality, you must first pair a Bluetooth-enabled phone to a Bluetooth-enabled vehicle.

Note: If you do not pair a Bluetooth-enabled phone, all calls will be made using OnStar® Hands-Free Calling.3

Some additional tips:

1. You can pair up to five phones with your 2009 Silverado.
2. Your system automatically recognizes the first phone you pair. To use a different paired phone, you must
select it using the "Change Phone" command.
3. Only one paired cell phone can be connected to your system at a time.
4. When the vehicle is in motion, you cannot pair a phone.
5. Pairing should only need to be completed once (unless changes to the pairing information have been made, or the
phone is deleted).

PAIR YOUR PHONE

Set up phone - Turn Bluetooth 'ON':

1. From the main screen, select "Menu"
2. Select "Settings & Tools"
3. Select "Connections"
4. Select "Bluetooth"
5. Select "Setup"
6. Select "Power"
7. Select "On"

Set up vehicle - Enter 'Pairing' mode:

1. Press and hold the Push to Talk button for two seconds
2. Your system will respond with a "Ready" message followed by
a tone
3. Clearly say "Bluetooth"
4. Your system will respond with a "Bluetooth ready" message
followed by a tone
5. Clearly say "Pair"
6. Your system will respond with instructions and a four-digit
Personal Identification Number (PIN); you will need to enter
this PIN on your phone

Begin the pairing process on your phone:

1. From the main screen, select "Menu"
2. Select "Settings & Tools"
3. Select "Connections"
4. Select "Bluetooth"
5. Select "Hands free"
6. Select "Look For Devices"
7. Select "General Motors"
8. Select "Yes" to bond with General Motors
9. Enter the PIN code provided by the vehicle
10. Select "OK"

Finish the pairing process in your vehicle:

1. The system will prompt you to give a name to your phone
2. Say a name that best describes your phone (example: Corey's
phone); this name will be used to indicate which phone is
connected
3. Your system will ask you to confirm your name
4. If you confirm that name, the system will respond with the
message: "'<Phone name>' has been successfully paired"

For god sakes someone help!!!!!!

The order in which you turn on the two devices seems to make a difference.

This is a common problem with the LG when trying to connect to many other devices, not just the TomTom.
