Check the wiring from the opener to the wall control. May be a broken wire and a loose connection.

Hardwired ceiling fan turned off by itself and stopped responding to remote control, but the light turns on/off.

I've had problems with Minka Aire also. You might need a new receiver. Call Minka @ 1-800-307-3267 and talk to someone in tech dept.. Should be a one year warranty on the receiver.

Have you tried checking to see if anything else works in that outlet? It sounds as if you have lost power to the outlet.

Lights will not turn on

I experienced the same problem. One day the lights on the unit weren't on. The wall outlet that the dishwasher uses had power because the Garbage Disposal that also uses the same outlet had power. Turns out the power supply cord also tied to the water supply hose and had over the months (due to the constant slapping or dancing of the water hose whenever the electrically controlled water valve was opened or closed), had caused the female receptor prong inside the wall outlet to loose continuity with the male prong of the dishwasher power cord. It might have been a defective wall plug all along but the wall outlet worked for months before the problem arose. Anyway, after replacing the wall outlet the dishwasher again has lights and works fine.

Device appears to have no power. Power cord looks good, it was working the day before then suddenly stopped working... no lights indication of any power making it to the device.

This unit will not operate if it is plugged into a power strip - it must be plugged directly into the wall outlet. An extension cord may be used.

My garage door keeps opening on it's own during the middle of the night or during the day. What's causing this

Look at the LED light next to the SMART/LEARN button on rear of the motor unit. You may need to remove a light lens cover in order to see it. If the light is flashing rapidly this means you have a stuck button on one of your remote controls. Take the batteries out of each remote control. When you remove the batteries from the bad remote, the light will stop flashing. This remote needs to be replaced.

If one of your neighbors remote controls is inadvertently programmed into your receiver, you door will open when their remote is activated. If this happens you will need to clear out your receiver and reprogram your remote controls. Press and hold the smart/learn button for 6 seconds or until you see the small LED light near the button turn itself off. If the above steps have been followed and the symptoms continue, there may be an electronic short in either the wall control button or the receiver logic board. In this case, remove the wall control wires from terminals 1 and 2 on the motor unit. Should the symptoms persist after the wires are removed, replace the receiver logic board. If the symptoms stop with the wall control wires removed from the motor unit, replace the wall control button, and the wires leading to the wall control button.
