My digilogic dvd/vcr seems to be locked. What ever button I try on both remote and box, the word safe comes up. I cannot play or get anything to come up. Please help!

I think there is a button on the remote that will unlock it.
It is some sort of child safety lock.
It hit it by mistake once and was going crazy trying to figure it out. I think the button is near the bottom of the remote.
I have just pressed the on button, on the remote, kept it held in for a few minutes and beleive it or not, it has come off SAFE and works fine now.
