Free diagrams unlikely to be available take the board's out and check for blown capacitors following good antistatic procedures and decide from there
Or find a good independent repair specialist to do the work and set your self a budget
My sharp aquos stopped working with a blinking power light £2000 was the repair quote for a new board and LCD panel for a £699 TV after they tried the capacitor replacement

SOURCE: My Sharp Aquos LCD TV LC-40C37U will not power up.

Good day sir/maam, chances are, yes or no, yes, the surge do has the ability to damage your TV, but no, modern TVs are autovolt (it can work from 90v-240v) so check the manual or back panel to confirm. The most deadly part of the surge is it can hit more than 500v at a split of a second, damaging your TV's switching power supply. The TV's power supply is bad. it cannot produce the proper voltage to power your TV. thats why its on standby. Bring it to your dealer for proper advice on the status of your TV.

SOURCE: If my Sharp Aquos 37in LC-40C37U tv needs to be

Blinking light is an error code. Count the blinks before they repeat. Check your manual in the troubleshooting section. If you can't find it, contact a Sharp service center or try and get a service manual. Reset info is also in the user manual but you can't do it if your set doesn't power up. Are you sure about the power board?

SOURCE: Ok.... I got a new power supply board and the tv

The pattern of the blinking is a code. If the power light is blinking by itself once per second or thereabouts it could be loose connection to Inverters, reload firmware, Inverter Unit or LCD Panel.

SOURCE: I have a Sharp Aquos

Hello
The cause of this problem can't be predicted. As far as sond is OK, it means that the sections, video IF, sound IF, tuner and all other fuctions except the video section is working well. There are mainly two reasons for this video fault. The first one is DAC trouble itself. if it is detected by test, the DAC board should be repaced. There is not replacable part in that board, as all components are soeered into it by machines. They can't be repalced by normal desoldering and soldering methods. Card replacement is the only remedy. The second possible fault is, no power entering to this board. it can be tested by normal methods by using a digital multimeter. A high quality digital multimeter should be used, as the components of this side are very sensitive to external loads. ordinary multimeter will make a load to it whilw testing it live. You must have through knolwdge in electronics, especially digital electronics, as this part is digtal section.
Just do one thing first. Switch off the set by remote control [Standby state]; keep it as for about 1 minute, unplug the power socket from the wall, keep it as for 2 minutes. Thus reset will complete. Switch it ON after that, and check whether reset process help you. If not, no doubt that the video card is damaged and should be replaced.

I have a sharp aquos lc-c4677un its not turning on at all now. When I push the power botton on the tv, the power light turns on and about 2-3sec the power and opc light start to blink and thats about it.

How are the power and opc lights blinking? Do they blink simultaneously or does one blink then the other? How many time do they blink per second? Also have you had it fixed yet? and if so what was done? I had a similar problem with my set.

My Sharp Aquos LCD TV LC-40C37U will not power up. The green power lamp at the bottom right is blinking. We had a power surge last night, I even measured 180V on the power outlet. Is my TV now damaged?

Sharp 52" Aquos LCD Will Not Turn ON-Blinking LEDs

I had a similar problem. Fleeting video, then audio only for few seconds and then nothing except the green power LED blinking on and off.
I changed the power inverter board, backlight inverter boards and power supply board but still the problem is not gone.

Just 18 month old TV and out of warranty.

No POWER

How many times does the POWER led flash per second? (Dont worry about the OPC).

1x (steady constant blink) = Lamps or inverters
2x = Power Supply
3x = Main Unit

If i am reading it correctly, looks like the POWER led is flashing 2x, which means it is a power supply failure. Either way, your TV needs to have a board replaced, there isn't anything you can do to fix it yourself. Try locating your local sharp authorized service center to repair your TV (1-800-237-4277)
