After using my cf-27, it may run for 5 min. or it may run for 30 min. but then it will shut down. lose power. i do have bad batteries

Your CF-27 performs a thermal shutdown protection the moment it detected a hardware problem. Make sure that the vent holes are not blowing off too much heat. If it does, one or more fans inside went down.

Also, does it shutdown by itself even if plugged into a power adapter? And since you have a bad battery, it time that you change them for a new one; constant shutdown of the laptop would further damage the system.

Do you use it on batteries?

Unfortunately, for almost every laptop manufactured, most of them run out of battery power as time goes on.
This may happen after one or tow years, to the point that, you may only run it on battery for a few minutes.

I use to experience the same problem with my laptop, after one year of using it, the stopped working well and the laptop would only run for 10 minutes on battery.

If possible, you can try to replace the battery with a new one, that should solve your problem.

1. Check the batteries. 2. After remove the battery Turn on the system by power adaptor And see what's going after a 30 min. 3. run by battery only and watch 30 min. if all of these showing the same result, then 4. remove the RAM & CPU then visit a service center for checking its working or not.
