Galsaba, don`t bother, no real tech support in this country and parts are almost non-existent, purchase a brand that you remember from 10 years ago and you`ll be waaay better off, BMW Rider

2007 visio tv will flickerimage on and off why wont the image stay on?

if it's a fast flicker, you could either have a backlight inverter problem or power supply problem. The problem with 32" sets Hannah is that they are not worth repairing these days as the prices have dropped like a rock. You can spend more fixing the set than buying a new one! The fact that its a 2007 would make me want to purchase new. Your TV is 7-8 years old and is at the end of its service life. Sadly, LCD TV sets were not designed to last as long as the old tube sets. 5-7 year life expectancy is typical. If I have been of service to you please sign my guestbook page @

P42HDTV Visio Plasma TV. The picture is bad grainy/snowy.

Doing some warranty work for Visio, I ran into this same problem. I replaced the video and power boards, among other things. Turned out to be a bad panel, which isnt viable to replace. Best to get Visio to agree they made a lemon (as all their products are in my humble opinion) and have them send you a new tv, or even better, buy a tv that is NOT a visio. You can get great deals on LG and Samsung these days, both decent quality tvs.

Visio LCD TV - Partial Picture blacked.

Hello! I have a 32" Vizio LCD...within 30 minutes of the tv being turned on, black lines start running through the bottom half of the screen and eventually blacking out the bottom half of the tv screen. It also doesn't have anything to do with the ratio as I have tried that. HELP!

Protron 42" tv

I would suggest to search for customers reviews of this product if you can google it. Personally I have not own one of this TV, I only service them.
I think LCD's and Plasmas are newer technology and the designers and manufacturers still trying to make them better. If you buy one of this TV, try buying the extended warranty if possible.
In regards to the power supply repairs, It could go from about $85.00 to $125.00 or it could be more expensive if you're buying a new board.

Hi, I am thinking of buying a used Visio L32 at a really great price.

I have never heard of pressure point lines. This particular model of Visio has a lot of problems wih the lcd panel and the lcd control module. Major problems and major expense. In my opinion a very low quality product and I will never purchase a Visio.

Vizio TV won't come on

I ran into the same problem within 14 months of ownership. Seems the expiration of my warranty conveniently coincided with the expiration of the Visio television...I am now the proud owner of a $1000 brick. A call to support ended with a repair quote of over $500! A painful lesson, but Vizio will not be seeing any more of my money...I'll spend that $500 on a QUALITY television.
