Press and hold the delete button and press the up and down button to set lcd contrast, language, home area code, set time/date.

Above is your manual. If you go to page 4 it states that the time and date are set automatically when you get caller id?
If you look at P10 at the top mentions the same thing.

Need to reset date and time on caller ID on Durabrand phone Model #5562
Hello,

Hold down the Delete button and press the Down button. LCD settings show. Keep pressing the Delete button until you get to Hour and Minutes. Change the hour and minutes, then keep pressing the Delete button until the screen is normal again.

How do you reset the time on durabrand jumbo display caller id speakerphone ph 5562 (hac/vc)
You hold the delete button down and push the up button. Then you can let the delete button go. Youll get a menu to set the contrast, then the language, then the time and date. Use the up and down arrows to adjust and the delete button to cofirm. =-)

All you have to do is go to SETTINGS then PHONE SETTINGS then hit ENGLISH.
