Hi, it's painful but I don't think there's a problem with your cartridge but with the HP's software. It has detected an old cartridge with new ink level.
Here you need to replace by a new original cartridge & after it's used up, the old cartridge will work fine hopefully.
So pls remove old cartridge.

Ink not working D5160 using refilled ink cartridge.. red light blinking

I have a D4360 that I use refilled cartridges with, and have had that problem. I found out that when I get a red light and no ink with a refill, the circuit strip on the cartridge is bad and not making a connection. You'll need to take the refilled cartridge back to where you got it, with the receipt, and let them test and replace it.

I changed the black ink cartridge but the ink light keeps blinking as there was no ink and it also makes weird noises as is the cartridge try to move but can't

Hello,
you may have probably gotten a fake ink for your printer, because Hp printer will never work or print not until u put in a genuine ink from Hp. Try to purchase another genuine ink and see if the problem will occur again.
Thanks

Light on empy ink won't shut off put in new cartridges how do I s

Is it a new cartridge or refilled? Refilled cartridges sometimes do not read as filled. I know it is expensive, but try another cartridge (unless you have already tried 2 new ones). If the new one works, I would try to get a replacement on the 1st one.

There is ink but ink light is blinking and not

if its a refilled cartridge then... it might be a bad one... my best suggestion is called hp and verify the ink install procedures... or consult your manual... if you did it right then you might have a bum cartridge... replace it and try again... if the same then you might need to get your hp repaired...

Top light blinking, will not print

I believe that the top light is the low printer cartridge signal. Did you replace the cartridge or just take it out and reinstall it? Did you use a new HP cartridge or refilled cartridge?

Try a new ink cartridge from HP and double check that you have the correct cartridge for your printer. If that doesn't solve the problem, contact HP.

Blinking ink refill light

Hi, Please follow the steps given in the below document to clean the ink cartridges

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c00058182

Also try replacing the refilled ink cartridges with genuine ink cartridges as it might be an issue with the refilled ink cartridges.

I refilled the ink cartridges on my Canon iP1700. The print screen says they are low on ink and the orange light blinks four times. I unpluged the printer as directed in my manual. ??? The orange light...

The refilled ink cartridges do not have the chip which comes charged from the company. It is suggestable if you can spend on the new ink cartridges, do it. or else you can buy from the market compatible ink cartridges which comes with pre charged chip on the cartridge. this chip when comes in contact to the printer carriage assembly where the circuit is located. the printer works fine without any errors

C3150 print cartridge

  • Remove the cartridges.
  • Turn off the printer.
  • If the cartridges are leaking, put the print head on some tissue, so it can extract the excess ink. With a dry cloth, clean your scanner. Look inside the printer. If there is ink in there too, clean it. Use a lot of tissue or toilet paper. Might put some gloves on too.
  • When you make sure that the cartridges are not leaking anymore, gently wipe the electric contacts on them, and clean the ones on the cartridge carrier.
  • Turn the printer on.
  • Try printing.
  • If the cartridge light keeps flashing:
  1. If a computer message indicates a specific cartridge, that is the problem cartridge.
  2. If there is no computer message, look at the Start Copy lights - if the Black Start Copy light is blinking, the cartridge on the right is the problem cartridge.
  3. If the Color Start Copy light is blinking, the cartridge on the left is the problem cartridge.
If you find out which cartridge is the problem, you will need to replace it.
Unfortunately, the ink that has leaked inside, might have damaged your printer.

Hp deskjet 842c blinking ink cartridge light

You have to take off the clear strip of plastic over the copper area, or the printer will not detect it. There should be a green pull-tab on the cartridge.
