Trying to figure out what year my husqvarna is
model 61 S/N 7120499

Serial number decode – useful when downloading IPLs and Manuals

06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000)
15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week
Looking at the availabl IPLs it could be 87 or 97. They will help with decode. Lets let the real experts help. LOL

I just got my saw stolen not too long ago and I went to the guys house that I thought stole it and he has a serial number 965 03 02-00 on one of his saws and my serial number is 965 03 02-98. This can't possibly be my saw could it?

i asked about decoding a serial # for a husquvarnia model 61 saw.
FYI
it was silver #'s on a black tag.
husky responded and said it was a 1987.
