Water coming out of horizontal holes is not enough to rotate arms remove them and check the outermost holes these are angled so they rotate the arms they will be blocked even though all the others are clear.

Bosch SMSH63W52N/11 dishwasher not heating water reliably and middle spray arm not turning most times.

It appears that your model is probably SHEM63W52N/01

Bosch cunningly hide the heater inside the pump housing and sell the pump and heater as one unit! Having said that, the heater usually works or it doesn't. When it comes on is controlled by a control unit, another expensive part. I was looking for a relay, but there isn't one.

The spray arms move by the water pressure making them spin. First of all I would remove them and check all the holes for blockages. Replace them and make sure they spin well by hand.

If you are inclined, strip the pump and make sure is is clear of blockages and the impeller spins well. Check the continuity of the heater element.

Bosch dishwasher arms not spinning

Hmmmmmmmm. If the water goes in and the pump starts yet there is no washing action I would suspect that you have an impeller failure. The impeller on Bosch dishwashers is a two piece unit and the plastic rivets slowly dissolve until he impeller fails in 2 pieces. The fix is a new impeller which is supplied with a new seal as well. I believe Bosch does this to avoid running so long without renewing the seal and having a leak. I can't think of any other reason to have a dishwasher soluble part for an impeller. It's a bit of a bit** to fix but there are good videos on utube.

Sprayer arms not spinning

I know this sounds too simple, but on My dishwasher which is an SHX46b model, the plastic supply arm that comes out of the pump and supplies the upper arm popped out of it's correct position at the base. It is held in place by two dinky nibs. I just popped it back in and voila, pressure was back and arms were spinning.

Dishwasher lower spray arm falls off

These parts can be replaced easily and reasosnably cheaply for example the top spray arm is about £20.00p. But you need the back water feed tube as well as the lower spray arm which should come as one package. (depending on model i'm going by bosch). You shouldn't have to pay more than £30.00p + p&p. Hope this helps.

Bosch dishwasher arms dont spin, but turn freely

How do you know the arms are not moving? They are spun by the water jetting through them and they may be blocked. They just pull out and clip back in so run some mains water through them. Also if you put dishes or trays that are big they can obstruct the arms so give them a spin to see first.
