Microwave does not heat things when turned on. Everything seems to be working but food comes out as cold as when it went in. Turntable mmoves, lights work, fan works but nothing gets heated up.
Re: Microwave does not heat things when turned on....
My Samsung has a Demonstration mode for use in the showroom which doesn't allow it to heat. Might want to check that before replacing the magnatron. It's such a hassle to get them unmounted and taken to a repair place!

The turntable system typically consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.
Here is a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.
If
yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate
or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or
plastic coupler.
To
replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover
of the oven.

I suspect the magnetron or high voltage transformer, and either part's cost or labor would probably be about the same as the cost of a new comparable unit.

It has a bad magnetron. This is the tube that provides the microwaves to heat the food. Not too easy to replace yourself but it can be done. Cost of magnetron is probably less than $50 or $60.
This is normal. That's why I always recommend to my customers that the food be placed slightly off-center on the turntable.
An analogy I refer to is stirring paint: If you stir paint with a stick by simply rotating the stick in the center of the can, it's far less effective than pulling the stick around an imaginary circle halfway bewteen the center and the edge.
