Unit runs good through wash cycle then while in rinse and spin does not complete cycle. The machine starts doing a short spin, and then dial starts turning around without stopping.

please rotate your cycle dial in the opposite direction of its usual motion by 90 degrees (probably counter clockwise). Then you can run the cycle again and the drain/spin/rinse should work. Otherwise, please power cycle your washing machine.
Please power cycle your washer (ie unplug power for 2 minutes before powering on again). Then, you can move your dial counterclockwise (or opposite the direction that you currently turn your cycle-setting dial) by 90 degrees. Then, attempt a full cycle again. This should help somewhat reset your cycle functions so that it works properly.
First try resetting your washers computer: turn the washer off. Stand in a completely DRY place and with DRY hands unplug the washing machine. Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in. Try to run one of the short cycles such as rinse and spin. Do this only once. If this does not work then continue with.......Have you run a cleaning cycle with the recommended cleaning product? If you have not ever you may need to run it more than once, even if you solve the problem the first time, a lot of build up can occur. Many people are unaware of the need to clean their washing machines. You need to check the pump it sounds like you have something in it .Clean out the pump and the unit will finish the cycle if the pump is not burnt out.
washer fills up but wont start washing i can turn the knob just passed the numbers and the little marks and it starts washing and when it gets to the rinse cycle it wont rinse but when it gets to spin cycle it spins good
