Actually there is no instruction manual for ME1020 available on Fossil website except for how to replace the battery. When you try to match ME1020 model with the available diagrams, there is no match (4 eyes). To set the time, pull the crown out to the second position. Now set the min/hour hands. Date hand is linked to it so keep rotating the crown till the date is set is set correctly. Now remaining is the day setting. Notice that the day changes every 24 hour mark on the 24 Hour sub-dial, so cross this mark to change the day. Go reverse & again cross the 24 hour mark to get the next day. Repeat this till you get the correct day setting. Now your day is also set along with date & time!

I just baught my me1020. Today i used it for the first time so I did managed to set the hour correctly, also the date and the 24h hand. Then I noticed that everything was moving, except for the H an Min hands! Does that mean that my watch is not working properly or that I am missing a step? Thanks for the help!!

Instructions for Armitron All Sport 40/6623 time setting needed.

Here's how you set the 40/6623 M175 for anything. I figured it all out with help from here :). Okay so want to set the alarm? Press MODE once. Then hold it. And use the DATE and ALARM buttons to set the alarm. Press MODE twice and you're done. To set time do the step before this and press MODE once. Use the DATE and ALARM button to set the time. As for the 24 hr deal what you do is hold ALARM and press MODE or hold MODE and press DATE. To turn alarm on/off hold ALARM button and then press the DATE button. To set the date go to time set mode and keep cycling between the hours and mins until you get to the date :). That's all you gotta do :D. I know many of you need the instructions so here it is!!

I can't get my head around how to manually wind my Fossil ME1020

You are not supposed to wind the watch, in simply winds itself with the motion of your wrist. A weighted wheel located in the back of the watch winds a spring that powers the second hand. The minute and hour is power by quartz and a battery.

Can't set the time!!!!

the instruction aren't much help either. this was a watch they discontinued pretty shortly after they released it. poor instructions and poor usability. great watch company though. this one was just a dog.
this was taken from a page off amazon: "Try to use the following for setting.

Press/hold with the upper left button until LIGHT OFF on the display.

Use lower left to select hour, min, date........

Use upper/lower buttons for adjust hour, min, date......

Press upper left to exit setting."

it worked for me. i have several of their watches, but like i said, this one was one of their "dogs"

I have a proble with setting date & day.

i think it's explained on the first page of your manual. first u turn the crown clockwise in position 3 to set the day (you have to turn it 24 hrs evey time to change one day). When this is done, you can set the date with the crown in position 2 and turn counter clockwise. i hope this answers your question

Rolex oyster perpetual datejust time/date setting instructions

Depending on how old the watch is, It may be quick set or older models are not quick set. In older models you need to unscrew the crown, pull out the crown and rotate the crown to set the time, and in order to set the date rotate the hour hand past 12 twice in order for the date to change. Set the date first and then set the hour and min. For quick set models unscrew the crown and pull it out to the fist click this position you can "quickly" set the date by rotating the crown. Set the date and then pull out the crown to the second position out. Rotate the crown to set the hour and min. Then push the crown back in and screw it down.

Set?

Press Both side buttons at the same time. This should reset the hours and minute mini-circles. Then use the top button to "start" the second hand moving again. press it again to stop the second hand. I'm unaware as to how to restart the bottom seconds circle.
