Common issue in this model---look to see if the option for convergence still appears in the menu---if not you have a bad part right at the flyback causing this---a kit of 3 parts is available (tvparts.com).
Set is also for this issue prone to bad solder connections at the flyback and right around it that will cause convergence issues.
this is somtimes a bad power supply or fuse if you have sound it likly and no picture usaly a fuse put this seems pretty much like a power supply issue this regulates power from the wall to each component of the tv like the picture and the souns amp
Does the standby light flash in a set pattern? Some tv have a error code system which pinpoints the fault by flashing the standby light a certain number of times. Other than that my best guess would be a fault on the power supply or a fuse blown internally. Good luck.
some dvd players dont play all dvd. i think the dvd player dont support the format of your dvd movie try a different dvd movie.This msg show up in every dvd you try to play????
