My Husqvarna Rider 16c wont reverse - first it was slow in reverse then not at all

You need to check the cable, it is a push pull telescopic style so it is possible to get forward and no reverse, if it was a hydro problem you would not get forward or reverse, there is also timing gears on the forward and reverse pedal, you nee to make sure they have not jumped a tooth as this would reduce movement on the cable at the hydro

Lawnmower will not go forward or in reverse. Brake is not engaged.

Is the lawnmower in transport mode. I know alot are underneath the back and it is a a small handle that when engaged disallows the mower to be put into gear. Let me know if this isnt the problem.

Engine runs good and blades turn fine but the lawnmower does not move forward or reverse.

the freewheel control is in the wrong position. push in all the way for mowing. This control is located on the rear of the mower below the seat.

Lawnmower will not move in gear with motor running

Hi
Check to see if any oil leaks between rear wheels where the tractor was parked. Also make sure hydrostatic disengage lever, at rear of tractor by hitch, has to be pushed in.

John Deere L120 transmission high pitch noise and no forward move

Try jacking the unit up. Start it up and try moving pushing the forward and reverse back and forth and see if it does it then. It sounds like an oil way in the hydrostatic unit has a check valve stuck. Of course make sure that the fluid lever is up. Hope this will help you. donnyb60
