Unfortunately, the Lexmark X3480 is only compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 2000 and Windows 7.

Generally if your printing postscript, you don't need to update the drivers on a Mac. But there are new drivers available for download on the website here. that said, there is not any difference between the Tiger, Leopard, and Snow Leopard versions of the driver...or much difference in the Linux driver for that matter. If what you have works, don't obsess over upgrading. They all work.
