I had the same problem. As jeanshay said above, put into synchro mode (center push button till beep, cycle to hrs/deg, then hold center push button til beep and synchro shows) I figured out the difference in time on hands and time on digital and lined up both times. Then i set the digital to 12:00 then went into synchro mode again and set the hands to 12:00 so it all lines up straight. The reset time again to correct time Afterwards the watch works fine. You'll have to reset the celcius/F scale and date display to US style or Euro style.
Good for another 5 yrs
Push the touch button and then the centre of the screen untill the units deg C 24h etc come up then hold the touch button for 5 seconds. This puts it in sycro mode. You can then use the -+ buttons to make them both point to 12
I had this problem too after changed the battery. But it is solved now. Thanks a lot.

My sticks stopped and when I touch for functions - LCD shows the functions but the sticks move only a millimeter and they can't point at a function.
I looks like a battery problem, the watch worked for a 5 years.
But in service center they said it has a mechanism problem and offer to replace the whole mechanism for $286...
My tissot analog watch hands do not match the digitial time. All other features seem to work fine. I tried the solution offered by putting the watch into syncro mode but it would flash syncro the hands would switch to something completely different and then switch back to the same wrong time my attempts at adjustments with the +/- didnt work either. Anyone have more detailed step instructions or ideas? Thanks gents...
