i lost my manual for my motherboard....

right from i bought my PC, my front audio which basically is for head phones was not working...

i opened the cabinet and the pins were connected, but still no audio from them... my guess is that the pins were not connected properly...

does anyone have the manual and can scan the page and load it up online... so that i can even see the pictures and connect it accordingly... thank you.

P.S: i have seen a similar question on board but the answer was simple " connect the pins".... my point is how? please help me.

    Thanks in advance.

for USB connection, the header is normally 9 pin 2x5, and 10th pin missing. now if you can identify pin one that is at the opposite side of missing pin. that's positive and from there 4th one is "g" if your connector is 4 pin in one body then simply align pin 1 to + and g to 4th and for second connector just match the +and g and insert. and if that's not helping just post the photos of bother here then I will tell you exactly how to do it

and front panel audio won't work coz it requires special front panel that can send the sense input for speakers and mic.

It wont work even if u connect wire to MB it requires special hd wire (with sence) or u can configure audio panel one comes after driver is installed to stop looking for pin iscertion and do its fancy popup thingy.

How do I hook up the 2 audio outputs from CD-ROM on Intel D101GGC

You shouldn't need to connect audio connections from drives to the motherboard unless you are using A Win 9x operating system. Digital Audio Extraction is used for WinXP and later and the analog cables are no longer needed

Sorry no info on the pinouts

Headphone problem

Did you installed all drivers ?

Are there FRONT audio jacks you are trying to connect your headphones/mic ?
Dit it work before ?

First install all (incl. audio) drivers and try to get audio from BACK connectors (Green is speakers/headphones, Pink is Mic.)
If it workson on REAR, but not on FRONT connectors, check if you have another icon for AUDIO settings in Control panel and try to set FRONT audio settings.

Check if FRONT audio connectors are connected to your motherboard.

Regards.
