I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, freezing on the cycles and giving you an Error message 11. The E11 states that fill time is too long. There are a couple of things to check in this case. First, you will want to reset your appliance by either unplugging it or cutting the power at the circuit breaker for at least 2-3 minutes. When you restore power you can start a cycle and see if it works. If it does, there just might have been some miscommunication between the different boards inside the washer. If it is still giving you the E11, you will want to make sure that the water pressure is at least 30 PSI. Make sure you're not using any other water sources while using the washer. An "F-11" error code on a Whirlpool Duet could cause your washer to become inoperable and stop in the middle of a load. The cause of the problem could be a number of things and may require new parts.
F11 can mean anything from motor to motor control board to ccu board to wiring harness connecting ccu to mcu to motor.

Identification

The "F-11" code could appear with the dash or without the dash on the LCD screen. Be aware that there is also an "F-H" code that could look similar to the "F-11" code. Listen for 11 beeps to go along with the error code's first appearance.

Effects

The error means that there is no communication between the "Motor Control Unit" and the "Central Control Unit." This means that any operation selected like "Pre-wash" or "Large Load" cannot be sent to the motor for the washer to operate.

Prevention/Solution

Open up the washer panel to check the wire connections between the two units. If any plugs are loose or unplugged, reconnect them. Check to make sure none of the wires are stripped, rusty or broken off. After you reconnect the wires, rerun the washer to see if the error appears again.

Your owner's manual may give a troubleshooting guide for the error code your machine might give you. Is it possible you have locked out the control panel? I "think" the calypso has a control lockout, usually a start button or cancel button. If you press it in for 3-5 seconds, it can lock or unlock panel. If all else fails, try unplugging it and see it it will drain out the water.

F-11 is communication error between the Motor control unit and the Main CCU. Either of these or both could be bad. Sometimes unplugging all the connections from the CCU (under top panel) and plugging them back in will fix the problem. If fixed, there's a bad connection at the CCU.

This error code indicates that the door is not locking.
Is the washer door firmly shut?
The door must be completely closed for the washer to operate. The door may look as if it's closed, but it may not be latched. Open the door and firmly close it.
Were you washing a large load?
Before you close the washer door, check for laundry items sticking out beyond the door opening. Leave enough space in the washer to allow the clothes to freely tumble. Reduce your load size if needed.
To remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.


If Pause/Cancel does not work:

1. Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
2. Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.

NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other conditions above have been checked, call for service.
