Try a System Restore, from Safe Mode. This will restore you to a time before you installed the "Problem". Press F8 at bootup, select Safe Mode, when you are asked if you wish to go to safe mode desktop or do a"System restore" choose that and follow instruction. Restore to a time prior to problem, reboot, you should be all good.. Ateeenhut

How do I recover or repair bootini and bootsect for Windows XP Professional after uninstalling Windows 7 Ultimate?

It's good that you have the recovery cds. Do NOT reformat the hard drive. Restore with the cds so you'll have a clean install . You will need to have any software cds that did not come with the original pc in order for them to rebuild the registry entries. That is the easiest way because there won't be any left over files from Windows 7 after you restore to XP.

No webcam icon for my HP dv 1603 tn laptop and no audio after upgrade to wndows 7. please help me.. thanks

If you did a retail or OEM upgrade to Win7, you are likely missing the drivers necessary to run your webcam and audio. Click on the Start pearl on the bottom left corner, then right-click on Computer. In the context menu, choose Manage. A window should appear. On the left side of that window, click Device Manager. Information should populate in the right hand pane. If you see any devices with a yellow icon, you are missing drivers for these devices. In order to download those drivers, first go to HP's Support Page for the Mini 1000 and choose your specific model number. Then, make sure you choose Win 7 as your Operating System. Look for the webcam and audio drivers, as well as any other missing drivers you've found in Device Manager, and download and install them.

Bluetooth Problems with Acer Aspire 5538: I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium. My device manager does not show my bluetooth. When I install the drivers, it says it can't find it. I tried...

If your Acer Aspire is anything like mine (AX1420-UR12P) then you have a great compture. You just need to "?nable" it to use Bluetooth. I use windows 10 but 7 shouldn't be much different. Go to settings where you see the Features, and select option to turn on or off systems features. You'll have a list and on it is enabling Bluetooth. without using this feature its impossible to connect
