Even with a new panasonic bulb;the picture is not as bright as when it was new.prob?

Check first if/that all connections are connected as the should be. That in order go to the menu on your tv. Go to picture and adjust the brightness. K

After trying to adjust the brightness or contrast, you may need to buy a new bulb? Not sure if it's been replaced yet?

Try some adjustments. Brite changes the level of bright and Picture changes contrast. Less contrast and less brightness to even things out may help, and you won't be driving the panel so hard, so It's life will be longer too.

i have a mitsubishi i bought a bulb from this dealer and i enstalled it now i believe that the picture isn't bright enough or is it just me? could a bulb not be bright enough that it gives a draker picture

The wrong or faulty lamp may cause darkness

Try changing the coolant in the CRTs this is usually the cause when a projection unit gets dim and hard to focus.

What lamp did you replace it with? Some of the aftermarket bulb sources are not the original brand and do not work as well.
