I hate to say it but use two remotes--original for the Vizio and the box remote for the box---some kind of conflict here---you can also try to unplug things from power for while and repower to see if a reboot will help or not.
Do you know what model MOXI box you have? The new remotes weren't programmed to the MOXI 3012 box. If you have the Moxi MP12, BMC9012, BMC 9012F, BMC 9022 you will need to program the remote to the box.
1.Turn on the Moxi STB. 2.Press and hold the MOXI and OK buttons on the remote until the red LED at the top of the remote blinks twice. 3.After the red LED has blinked twice, release both buttons. 4.Using the numeric buttons on the remote, slowly enter 0, 0, 4. The correct entry of this code will cause the red LED to blink twice. 5.The remote is now programmed to operate the Moxi STB listed above. Go to “Programming the TV”.
Is this the style of Moxi remote that you have? If so try these steps to find your TV 1. Turn on the power to your TV. 2. Press and hold down the MOXI and OK buttons.at the same time until the LED at the top blinks twice. 3. Press the numbers 9910 on the remote and the led should blink twice again. 4. Press the mute button. If the TV mutes then press OK to lock in the code. If the TV does not mute press the up arrow once then press mute and continue to press the up arrow once then press mute until the TV mutes once the TV mutes press the OK button to lock in the code. *** Note this may take a couple minutes of trying to cycle through the code list to find which one will work with your TV *****
Hold down the moxi and ok button until the remote flashes twice, then enter 9910. The remote will then blink twice again. Then go back and fourth pressing the mute button and the up arrow key(the one above the ok button)this will go thru all the codes, when your tv finally mutes, press ok that means you found the correct code.Hope this helps
Hi, Maybe too late for you but ATT just gave me a code that works with my Vizio plasma. Code is 1343. Even the mute works correctly. They gave me some others to try but I didn't need them. Other codes were 1018, 0030 and 0056.
Just bought a Vizio 22" 1080 p TV and need to set up a Verizon Fios remote for it. The codes for Vizio for the remote do not work. Can anyone help me with this.
The "universal code" 9910 is just the first step in doing a program search. Hold down the MOXI and OK buttons simultaneously until you get the double blink. Then enter 9910 and it will blink twice again. Then begin alternately pushing MUTE and the up arrow (above the OK button). Pushing the up button effectively cycles through the codes and pushing MUTE tests the current code that it is on. Do not go too fast because when you finally push MUTE and it actually mutes (or unmutes) your TV, you must push the OK button to store that code. I just performed this procedure and my first positive code that I stored only affected the mute and volume settings on my TV and would not turn the power on or off. If this happens to you as well, repeat the above process and just skip over the first positive you get until it mutes (or unmutes) your TV again.
